New CD release on Heritage

Symphonies 8, 9, 22 and 24 on Heritage under Myer Fredman

From Heritage comes the release of another four Brian performances from the BBC's archive, Symphonies 8, 9, 22 and 24 from 1971 and 1973. These performances circulated for many years as 'bootleg' off-air LP records of dubious quality, but this is the first opportunity to hear these symphonies anew in this magnificent transfer made from the original BBC master tapes.

Heritage Fredman

In symphonies 8, 9 and 22, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was conducted by Myer Fredman. In symphony no. 24, Fredman conducted the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
