The complete Hull Youth Symphony recordings are now re-mastered. The complete piano music played by Peter Hill has been transferred from the original LP recording, so appears to be not a true DDD remaster. Both are from Cameo Classics.

The Brian 2 was a featured CD on Naxos' homepage. Listen to excerpts in the Listening Room.

The text of Reginald Nettel's 1945 book on Brian, "Ordeal by Music" is available from the Internet Archive Universal Library as a free download in both text-only format (somewhat difficult to read) and as an Adobe PDF reproduction of the printed pages.

The PDF also includes the book's three illustrations; a drawing of Brian by Frank Furnivall, the score of the end of "The Mad Maid's Song" and a reproduction of the last letter from Henry Wood to HB.
