The first three movement were originally intended to form part of piano suite, which HB then orchestrated.  He added two further movements which, in turn, he made piano versions of.  This piano suite is now lost

2 flutes (1 also picc), 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 4 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones, tuba, timpani, xylophone, glockenspiel, cymbals, tambourine, triangle, bass drum, side drum, jingles, harp, organ [ad lib], strings
